anyone know if you can set the drag proxy position when using dragEnabled in List components — want to avoid coding drag operation myself
going to finish my final todo’s and do a build — then use Carbon Copy Cloner to backup my MBP in preparation for Snow Leopard install
didn’t check email in well over six hours today, apart from when on long distant flights that must be a new record for me
I can haz success! - just finished a complex piece of code, few minor things to do and I’ll have a fully functional build to send out
woohoo, sent out the build - I can crash now, need sleep. If all goes well I can install Snow Leopard tomorrow and work on presentations
likewise @hsivaram, looking forward to meeting you! will definitely still be doing code @sjespers, would miss it too much ;)
ROFL @sjespers - I wonder who that was ;)
hope the crunchpad is still alive, really liked what they came up with but no official news or announcements AFAIK — http://bit.ly/10xkzz
hah, never thought I’d see that headline “Can Bill Gates stop hurricanes? Scientists doubt it” — http://bit.ly/10sIr6
probably won’t get snow leopard until Monday or Tuesday — ordered it online with regular shipping
you could draw somewhat of a parallel to Flash Player adoption, adoption drives innovation
I used to think the same @adobeted, though if people wait to update, that just means issues get discovered later on — no real solution
got a few days to kill in Singapore after #tacsg, going to look for things I didn’t get round to do last year ;)
done for tonight, family visit tomorrow - made good progress
nothing quite like analyzing a project on a piece of paper, works much better than anything else I’ve tried

Looking forward… →
when in doubt… refactor
woohoo, making good progress
good morning twitter - 5.30 am time for coffee
…and I’m back from Kortrijk
ROFL RT @jdowdell: didn’t know that amazon.com lets you search on products which customers tag “WTF”: http://tr.im/xhPZ […]
going to put on american dad in the background while I get some more code done
its usually the simplest features that take the longest time to debug - frustrating
just blogged about the last six months and my new upcoming venture — http://bit.ly/37iuG4
very excited to be attending #TEDIndia in November!
the evangelists are worth their weight in gold (another reason Adobe should hire me ;)) - got my answer
annoyed how long it takes to get a simple reply from the European Adobe partner program helpdesk
wow seriously wondering about twitter security - http://twitter.com/apifail2 (via @techcrunch - http://bit.ly/p9NK7)
damn, why didn’t I think of that, great idea - RT @bit101: a little bit of my brain just blew up. http://bit.ly/45ktbC
sleep is for wussies — all night coding session FTW!
I want to win FOUR exclusive pillows before anybody else can buy them! Just follow @mysuitestuff and retweet! http://mysuitestuff.com/blog
ah crap, think I’ll have to throw away a good chunk of code — that’s never nice but found a much better way to handle it
makes me wonder if this was already decoupled why they’re not supporting the MXML syntax in Flash authoring
wow @bobjim, that would be a mind freak — surely the mx namespace for Flex 3 merges in the framework with the MXML language?
I’m giving in, need a couple of hours sleep
need coffee to wake up the brain
RT @ashorten: Blogged: Flash Catalyst best practices article published on Adobe Developer Connection - http://bit.ly/tt9aa
.@ultraky great, really useful that you can turn those all individually to error, warning or disabled
congrats @mrinal, great to hear!
ugh, that object.toString warning in FDT drives me crazy, its really great overall but some minor usability details and typos are annoying
RT @dwmcallister: Win an Ultimate Presentation Survival Pack, including a MacBook! Just tweet #sliderocket and win! http://bit.ly/1fC1Uh
very interesting - Eric Giler demos wireless electricity - http://bit.ly/13f38u #TED
cool, economy flights now earn tier points on BA executive club
Flex Builder don’t fail on me now! getting some stuff wrapped up

right, passed the Flash CS4 certification exam - lets get my ACI status sorted again
shame I’m missing out on the next AUG Belgium meeting — I’ll be on my way to Singapore, on the upside I’ll be flying on an Airbus A380 ;)
time for some lunch
